Check out our sales rep Rob Casey's new SUP book!
Our NW SUP sales rep Rob Casey just completed ‘Stand Up Paddling Flat Water, Surf and Rivers,’ the first comprehensive instructional guidebook on stand up paddling (SUP). Published by Seattle based Mountaineers Books, the guide will be published in April 2011.
Part of the Mountaineers Outdoors Expert Series, the book covers the basics of stand up paddling from gear choices and basics to how to run rivers, surf, tidal rapids, racing, and paddling on overnight trips. Dave Kalama wrote the Forward, Nikki Gregg contributed to the Fitness chapter, and Corran Addison co-wrote the History chapter.

Look for Rob's pics of Bobby in the upcoming Spring issue of Stand Up Journal. Rob's blog, Stoke Magazine covers SUP paddling tips and gear suggestions. A resident of Ballard, Rob teaches SUP through his business, Salmon Bay Paddle, and does free demos of Perfect Wave boards in Seattle.
