2nd Annual Christmas Paddle was a success and we made KOMO TV!

A great night out in Kirkland with glassy conditions, a strong turnout of SUP'ers lit from bootie to hood, and great food and beers at the Slip afterwards!  KOMO TV had us on the 11pm news, HERE.

Join us for our 2nd annual Night Christmas SUP Paddle in Kirkland - Dec 22!
It's also time to get your santa hat and battery operated Xmas lights for our 2nd night paddle along the Kirkland waterfront.  This is a fun casual night paddle and watching the Xmas boats. 

We'll put in around 6:45 and Kirkland Marina Park, then meet up at the Slip Restaurant for Burgers and a cold one!

If anyone need a place to change in/or out of there wetsuit. Jon from Bikini Beach has offered his changing rooms in his store, which is close to the parking lot.

-Time: 6:45ish
-Where: Kirkland Marina Park
-Route: We'll end up paddling from Kirkland Marina Park to Carillon Point (approx 2.5 miles round trip)

Board and Wetsuit Rentals: 
The shop will be closing that 6:00 that night, so if you need a board or a wetsuit, make sure you get there or make arrangements before. Also, make sure you pop in the shop and check out some of our new boards that have been added since last year.

Our 9'-8" surfing SUP rips!  The pointed nose makes paddling out easy and the five fin (FCS) set-up gives you plenty of options to work with.  The board floats paddlers up to 200 lbs and is super stable in bumpy water.    $1,250.  (9'-8"x30"x5").

Perfect Wave 18' Phanthom SUP -

We have two 18' fast SUPs for racing and/or touring.  This is the Phanthom.  Dimensions are 18'x28"x5.5".  The hull has 'V' from the tail to the nose which helps with tracking and with secondary stability in rough water.

We paddled the board without a fin both directions (forward and backward) and it stays fairly straight without too much effort. You can add tie-downs on both ends for hauling gear or extra paddles.  It handles well for downwinders, surf, fast tidal current, long trips, racing, or for casual paddling.  Give us a holler for a demo!  $2,000.00 - 18ft - Blue Stripes (Race Board) (displacement hull)  Tell em' Rob sent ya.

Check out our 12'-6" SUP

The Perfect Wave 12'-6" is a stable and very fast down wind board. It glides fast in the chop and the wide low profile help cut through the head wind.  People who have paddled and raced this board have compared it to be like a combination of the 14ft Bark Expedition and the 12ft Tuflite Laird.      Specs: 12'-6"x32"x4 1/2".

Bellingham firefighter Beau Whitehead won the 13 mile 2009 Round the Rock Race, 2nd in his division of the 2010 Round the Rock.  He has competed at the Battle of the Paddle, Surftech, Naish, and many other local and regional races.  Check out his great blog, Paddle Surf Northwest.
